Meal Planning

Most of us don’t start thinking about what’s for dinner until the end of the work day. 4:00 in the afternoon is a bit late in the day to be thinking of what to put on the table at 6:00! This often leads to using pre-packaged foods which have preservatives in them and are not nutrient dense, or even worse picking up takeout food. Having your meals planned for you will decrease the stress of thinking about what to eat and the what’s for dinner dilemma. It will also allow you to stretch those food dollars when you have a plan for how to re-use meals in a different way.

Just because you don’t have much time to cook doesn’t mean you can’t eat well! Better eating can lead to better nutrition and health. Eating smart can happen in many ways.
